The Thread where I prove to Andrex that not all music in the 80's was bad.

While the 80’s might have had alot of flops, it was still an amazing decade for music.

Not as much in the U.S. as in other countries, though.

Examples:

Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World This was the epitome of British 80’s music.

Overkill - Men at Work Australia’s take on the 80’s. One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. 'Nuff Said.

Calling - Kyosuke Himuro Japan’s best 80’s song. And, I know, this is the credits for Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, but that’s the best video I could find.

Party all the Time - Eddie Murphy Eddie Murphy is epic. That’s all there is to it.

Safety Dance - Men Without Hats I love this song. A one-hit wonder if there ever was one, but god is it amazing.

Rapper’s Delight - The Sugarhill Gang Whoo!

If anyone else wants to post anything, feel free to.

All Rush, all in the 80’s
Limelight
New World Man
Tom Sawyer

Rapper’s delight was '79 bish

Locked.

Don’t think I said it was all bad, I myself have confessed an affinity for I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight, but mostly it is, especially American 80’s.

Also all the songs in the OP are fruity.

No they’re not, Trex. And you know it. And, you didn’t even lock it…

Well since you asked nicely… :stuck_out_tongue:
